Did You Miss “Gentle & Lowly/Wisdom Pyramid?”
During our Small Group Leader & Coach Equip Night on Thursday, September 23, 2021, we featured the topic: “Gentle and Lowly/Wisdom Pyramid.” We enjoyed one another’s fellowship and talked through different aspects of Dane Ortland’s book “Gentle and Lowly” and Brett McCracken’s book “Wisdom Pyramid”.
Pastor Bob Martin shared a devotional from Matt. 11:28-30 on what it means that Jesus is gentle and lowly and asked the question, “What does your group need to hear most from this text?” He also shared a lesson from the Wisdom Pyramid and asked the question, “What are the 3 habits that are making us sick?” He shares practical takeaways from the book to consider implementing into our lives as Small Group Leaders.
